This time we got a chance to interview Sarmistha Goswami from STYLE OVER COFFEE. We must say that her love for fashion & lifestyle has been portrayed on her blog, immaculately. Sarmistha has completed her English Hons. & a degree in Fashion Designing from NIFT. From 14 long years she has been a fashion designer & has implemented her ideas to create some fabulous masterpieces.
Let’s take a look at the short interview session we had with her.
Q.1 About You: Tell us about your education, profession and passion.
I did my graduation with English honors. and studied Fashion Design from National Institute of Fashion Technology. I am a Fashion designer by profession and have been working for 14 years in the apparel industry & for private clients. I work as a freelance illustrator as well. I am passionate about anything creative and beautiful. After creativity, animals are my biggest passion!
Q.2 Which is the best season you like and what’s your favorite wear for that season?
Winter is my favorite season because summer is really harsh where I live. My favorite outfits keep changing with time, but currently I am loving full sleeve printed dresses, fun sweaters and regular fit denims for Indian winters.
Q.3 The best place which you have visited till now? What is the best thing about that place?
Rajasthan is my favorite state to visit as a tourist! I have been to different parts of Rajasthan several times, but this state has not lost it’s charm and never will. I love the culture, the colours, the food and the people. Everything is just great there!
Q.4 When did you first think about fashion blogging & what would you suggest to become a good fashion blogger?
I started my blog on a very random day in 2013 without any plan or idea. Never really thought I would continue with it for so long. Not only have I grown a lot with my blog, it has opened up new revenue streams for me. Currently my blog is on hold for a few months as I have bigger plans with it that I am working on, but I am really glad I started it in the first place!
Q.5 Who is the best Bollywood diva to follow in terms of fashion? Which is the best dress you like her wearing?
I think Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have great sense of style and can pull off all kinds of looks.
Q.6 What is the Inspirational Success Quote you would like to suggest our readers?
