On Day 3 all the fashion daddies took over the ramp. From Abraham and Thakore, Rajesh Pratap Singh and Manish Malhotra showed trends like never before. Lots of Motif from around India were used for decorating the outfits.

Designer: Manish Malhotra

To start with Bollywood’s favorite designer Manish Malhotra’s collection. His show was called ‘Threads of Emotion’ showing lots of Indian craft which made the collection very feminine and traditional. He showed:

Phulkari- Indian floral geometric embroidery. It was done in Mustard yellow, orange, olive green and red color. Find similar trend in Anarkalis.

Designer: Reynu Tandon

Her label ‘Mynah’ showed Scenery Embroidery at the central panel. A total Urban Goddess look.

Designer: Kavita Bhartia

She showed Graphic trend done in embroidery on dark shades. Such heavy works on outfits means fewer accessories to be carried.

Designer: Sulakshana

Mix of Glittery Gold and Elegant Blue with Lace. Get similar style in saree.

Designer: Kiran Uttam Ghosh

Mix of colors like Anthracite, Red and Gold. Get similar combination in saree.

Designer: Rajesh Pratap Singh

He showed many English trends in Autumn/Winter collection. They are:

Herringbone- Close to Optical trend, this English trend is derived from Herringbone fabric. Get similar style in saree.

Plaids- derived style from Plaid fabric. Find similar in saree.

Ikat- Ikat is a kind of dye done on clothes. You can understand it more closely through picture in inset. Get this trend in saree.

Designer Duo: Abraham & Thakore

They are famous for clean, minimalistic & modern take on fashion. Even their bridal collection which they showed on Day 3 was balanced in their signature style. They showed:

Basket motif- with basket weaves as their chosen motif, the outfits looked elegant. Find similar style in saree.

Mirror motif- full outfit was covered with mirror added the much needed glam to their show.
