We are absolutely delighted to share this short interview session which we had with Nilu Yuleena Thapa from “Big Hair Loud Mouth”.
The blog which was launched in 2012 is now a renowned name in the field of Fashion, Digital & Social Media. In May 2015, European Social Media Matrix Tool KPI ranked Big Hair Loud Mouth on 9th position amongst the Top Bloggers across the Globe, in terms of content strategy, Brand-Impact & image and the Resonance influence. As of now, BHLM has gained immense popularity as a personal style blog.
Heading towards the mind behind BHLM, Nilu has a graduate degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering. Her work as a blogger is appreciable as she had won the Best Blogger Styling Award at Splash Fashions (Bangalore) in 2014. She has been published in top fashion magazines like Elle India, Cosmopolitan India, North East India Magazines, Wave Magazine Nepal, Now Fashion Paris ) for her quirky-chic sense of style.
Here are some more achievements which can be a dream of many to achieve at this young age:-
1. Content partner – IIFA June 2016 held in Madrid in association with LeEco.
2. In July 2017 Nilu was chosen to cover the IIFA 2017 in New York.
3. December 2018 Nilu was awarded the best fashion blogger in SIFA ( south Indian fashion award )
4. July 2015 Nilu won the #maxroadtoparis, the national blogger styling contest where she won a paid trip to paris and a chance to attend the Paris fashion week 2015. She also got two page spread feature in Elite India magazine August 2015 issue.
5. Nilu was chosen to be one of the Indian Ambassadors from India to visit Taiwan in October 2016 in association with Taiwan Tourism Bureau.
6. In December 2018 Nilu won the max elite model look styling contest.
7. She won COSMOPOLITAN Bloggers Award 2019, which was held in Delhi for the Editors panel best layout.

Q.1 About You – Tell us about your education, profession and passion.
I’m Nilu and I’m a full digital content creator on beauty, travel and fashion. I’m a B.E Graduate in Electronics and Electricals and the job I’m doing is what I’m passionate about and always have been.
Q.2 Which is the best season you like and what’s your best wear in that season?
Spring and I love wearing a lot of colors.
Q.3 The best place which you have visited till now? What is the best thing about that place?
Bali. The place feels like home and the island has a very peaceful vibe to it.
Q.4 When did you first think about Fashion Blogging and what are the requirements to become a Good Fashion Blogger?
I didn’t have any set opinion on Fashion Blogging. To me it was just a documentation of my personal style which most said was very different. There is no requirements to be a good fashion blogger, one just needs to carry off what they wear and feel what they are wearing.
Q.5 Who is the best Diva to follow in terms of fashion, from Bollywood? Which is the best dress you like her wearing?
Kangana Ranaut. I love everything she wears.
Q.6 What is the Inspirational Success Quote you would like to give our readers?
Well it’s not a quote but a little mantra that gets me going – I can and I will.
