We are continuing this awesome interview series with Sayantini from “Cherry On Top”. She is a graduate in English literature & language. We really like Sayantini’s mindset for enjoying her life to the fullest & enjoying each & every moment. She has a weakness for sweets, loves books & has a passion for writing. This makes her a “sweet” fashion blogger. Her tips & writings on lifestyle & fashion are really inspiring & we are grateful to her for sparing valuable time for us. Let’s take a look at what all Sayantini has to share with us.
Q.1 About You – Tell us about your education, profession and passion.
I did my Masters in English Literature & Language. Currently, I am a full-time beauty & lifestyle blogger and vlogger. I have always been passionate for anything creative, be it creative writing or doing makeup or creating content in general. Thus, I love my profession so much!
Q.2 Which is the best season you like and what’s your best wear in that season?
I have always been a lover of clear blue sky and bright sun and hate humidity. So, any season with these weather conditions are ideal for me. If you want me to answer specifically, I would say I love early winters and late summers. For the former, I prefer a sweatshirt a pair of blue denims and for the latter, maybe breezy dresses or crochet tops. Overall, I believe in comfortable and casual fashion.
Q.3 The best place which you have visited till now? What is the best thing about that place?
I’d say Lepchajagat in Darjeeling district. The quaint little village with amazing lively and humble people around make you feel like you want to live there forever. I have always been a mountain person so such a small hamlet in amidst the pine forests and mountains overlooking the sublime Himalayas has my heart. Also, this place is very special because for the first time I experienced a full moon in the mountains which was surreal.
Q.4 When did you first think about Fashion Blogging and what are the requirements to become a Good Fashion Blogger?
Right after I started my beauty blog, I thought of adding a new section for sharing my casual styling with my readers. This was because many of my friends and readers had asked me to show my everyday and wearable styling.
I think, to become a good fashion blogger, you just need to be you. People look forward to a fashion blogger to see their unique take on fashion. So, I’d suggest being your own self and not to copy others.
Q.5 Who is the best Diva to follow in terms of fashion, from Bollywood? Which is the best dress you like her wearing?
I really like Sonam Kapoor for her unique and bold take on fashion, Deepika Padukone for her effortlessness and Priyanka Chopra for her confidence. I think all these criteria make the best Diva.
Q.6 What is the Inspirational Success Quote you would like to give our readers?
There is this Japanese proverb that I completely believe in. It says “Fall seven times, stand up eight”. Success only comes to those who work hard towards it. This is the ultimate truth. Success is not a destination; it’s a road that needs to be walked on until you die.
We at Indian Wedding Saree are thankful to Sayantini (Cherry On Top) for sparing her valuable time for us. We wish her good luck, success & health in the future.
