As part of our top fashion bloggers interview series, we got an opportunity to interview Nyeree Viegas (The Nyeree Diaries). The young fashion blogger comes from Goa and loves to share her ideas about beauty, lifestyle, and travel. She started the blog to share all bits and pieces of her life related to these fields.

She had a passion for art and fashion since her childhood. Her blog is the perfect example of living one’s passion. You can find her on Instagram and YouTube channel. She manages to be a full-time social media manager in weekdays and travels on weekends.

In the following interview, she shares her experience, dreams, and inspiration. Give it a read to know more about her.

Q.1 About You – Tell us about your education, profession and passion.

I currently work as a Social Media Manager at a 9-5 job where I handle the Social Media presence of various companies. I’ve done my MBA in Marketing from Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship in Bangalore. I’ve always had a passion for Social Media ever since the 6th grade when social networks like MySpace, Hi5 were the thing. I always viewed it as an opportunity to re-brand my identity.

Being a shy kid, I would hesitate to voice my opinions in person, and social media allowed me to do that in a way that made me feel safe, and now it’s come to be my job and I absolutely love how creatively challenging and fun it is! Aside from that, I blog and create content part-time which I enjoy more than anything! I started off my blog with the intention of having a creative outlet to put out my thoughts on fashion and lifestyle and it’s been an amazing journey so far!

Q.2 Which is the best season you like and what’s your best wear in that season?

SUMMER! I like keeping my style simple and love styling basics. Linens are great to wear during summer.

Q.3 The best place which you have visited till now? What is the best thing about that place?

I don’t really have one favourite destination. I have favourite spots in multiple cities and regions. I’ve been to cities in Europe as well as really remote regions in Karnataka, I enjoy them both equally.

Q.4 When did you first think about Fashion Blogging and what are the requirements to become a Good Fashion Blogger?

I first started blogging about two years back, in 2017. I think a requirement for being a good fashion blogger would be

a. Consistency: Post consistently, even if you feel like no one is watching/reading your content. Posting often will ensure that your content reaches out to more people

b. Invest in good quality equipment. This doesn’t have to be expensive, but make sure that all of your equipment helps you create good quality content. No one wants to watch blurry videos with terrible sound quality.

Q.5 Who is the best Diva to follow in terms of fashion, from Bollywood? Which is the best dress you like her wearing?

I don’t follow too much of Bollywood fashion, most of my fashion inspo comes from bloggers or content creators. However, I’ve really been loving Deepika Padukone’s style off late. She’s been experimenting with a lot of different silhouettes and prints. Credits go to her stylist Shaleena Nathani who’s been doing a fab job!

Q.6 What is the Inspirational Success Quote you would like to give our readers?

I don’t think I’m qualified to be giving advice on success but a quote that really resonates with me is “Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.” I don’t believe in destiny, I believe that you need to work hard for what you want, and it’s not destiny or the universe that brought me to where I am today. It was all me, my friends, my family and my hard work.

We at Indian Wedding Saree are thankful to Nyeree Viegas (The Nyeree Diaries) for sparing her valuable time for us. We wish her good luck, success & health in the future.
