DAY 2: WILLS LIFESTYLE INDIA FASHION WEEK AUTUMN/WINTER 2013-14

Day 2 at Wills India Fashion week started with few surprising fashion moments. Prints were everywhere, be it digital, block or foil and it was refreshing to see that embellishment in many cases had taken a back seat. It looks like FW 2013 is going to be less bling! Find the review of designs that were showcased on this second day!

She showed a lot of Patch works in outfits. She had a very town girl take on tribal with colorful Patchwork and Beading. Get this similar style of beads and Patchwork in anarkali.

Her collection was called Tribal Winds. A lot of tribal embroidery with a vintage & gypsy trend looked beautiful in jackets. This tribal embroidery was mixed with digital prints. Chic isn’t it? Get this upcoming trend in Jacket of Lehenga-choli.

She focused on Ombre trend in light silhouettes. Get this romantic and fuss free trend in saree.

His collection was inspired by Rajput Poshaks. The beautiful gold leaves were embellished on white or off-white garment giving it a royal look. Find this trend in Anarkali, a perfect choice for every festival/occasion.

Designer duo: Alpana & Neeraj

Their collection was strong yet feminine. The collection had Armour like detailing on the clothes. Armour was worn by the warriors to cover their bodies from any damage. The embroidery done in its shape looks very stylish. Find this Salwar Kameez with sleeves in Armour-like detailing.

Designer: Arjun Saluja

His collection has made the boring Corporate looks appealing. Long Kurtas in strict silhouettes were shown. They were mostly in dark neutral shades. The soft shoulders with angular downs looked edgy and unconventional. Get this look in Salwar Kameez.

Their collection was less blingy in less bright colors but with a splash of modern women’s persona. They showed:
